65% viscose/35% metallized polyester

18 Karat is a lightweight carry-along metallic yarn with a super soft feel (not stiff like some metallics) that knits easily with any other yarn to add a bit of sparkle. This yarn is very soft and comes in a hank that must be wound. GREAT CARE must be taken when winding it into a ball as it will tangle easily. Using a swift (or a volunteer with two hands!) and winding it together with the yarn you want to use it with is a good way to prevent tangles.
