Taiko Drum, Shime Daiko, 10.25" Diameter, 7" Depth, "Burgundywood" Tint Remo's Shime Daiko features a beautiful wood grained Advanced Acousticon™ shell, stained and finished to a high gloss. The heads of NUSKYN™ are stitched onto steel rings in the traditional manner. The only Shime Daiko to feature synthetic drumheads, the Remo Shime Daiko has a lathe-turned ADVANCED ACOUSTICON™ shell, shaped in the traditional manner and finished in a high gloss Burgundywood finish. The TYPE 10 NUSKYN™ drumheads are inspired by traditional Taiko head design, and the drums are available in either rope-tuned or turnbuckle-tensioning systems.
