Knit your own Chevrons and Ribs Cardigan Vest using these clearly-written instructions by knitwear designer Jackie E-S of HeartStrings FiberArts.
Chevrons and Ribs is a sleeveless cardigan in bold textured chevron pattern and ribbed yoke. This vest is designed to work up easily and quickly. A "when you're done, you're done pattern"!
The knitting is worked entirely in one piece, with bands and buttonholes knit as-you-go. Once the knitting is complete, only the shoulders need to be joined and buttons attached.
Design features are a bold textured chevron pattern and yoke shaping using the natural draw-in of a ribbed stitch.
