Knit your own Beaded Bias Towards Lace Scarf using these clearly-written instructions by knitwear designer Jackie E-S of HeartStrings FiberArts.
A Beaded Bias Towards Lace Scarf is the simplest of lace patterns knitted naturally on the bias to make a scarf with chic diagonal ends. The bias design is a striking use of hand-painted yarn. Optionally trim your scarf with a simple crochet beaded edge.
Allow 325 yards of fingering weight or finer yarn for 6½" x 68" scarf, or desired width and length with yardage adjustment. 6½ stitches/inch, size US 5 / 3.75 mm needles suggested. 15 g size 8/0 seed beads for optional beaded trim. Shown in hand-painted Novelty Rayon from Heritage Yarns in colorway Magic Carpet Ride with emerald seed beads. Written stitch instructions.
