My model pictured here used a yarn with colors that overlay the lace with the soft pastels of earth and sky. I can envision many other color palettes that would be lovely in this design. I encourage you to choose your own favorite colors and paint a field of flowers knitted into your heart-felt shawl creation using this pattern.

Triangular shape 36" deep and 74" wide. 1050 yards lace weight yarn. Size 3 mm needles suggested or size to give average gauge of 7 ¼ stitches per inch over blocked lace.
