Engineered specifically for Painless by Powermaster, these new PowerStar alternators are designed to solve the amperage needs of today's fuel injected engines. At start up these engines require higher amperage output than standard alternators are able to provide. Even other high amp alternators, which provide high output at upper rpms, do not adequately address low rpm requirements.
