Meade 16" LX200-ACF (f/10) Advanced Coma-Free Optical Tube Assembly w/UHTC #1610-00-00. Features Meade's patented Advanced Coma-Free optical system, oversized primary mirror, and UHTC Coatings for maximum image brightness, sharpness, contrast, and coma-free flat fields. Focal Length of 4064mm, Focal Ratio of f/10.
The revolutionary Advanced Coma-Free (ACF) optical design offers the coma-free pinpoint star images and flatter image fields greatly desired by discerning amateur astronomers, astrophotographers and professional observatories alike. The patented ACF system also reduces the astigmatism and eliminates diffraction spikes found in classical RC’s. No competing Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope can make those claims.
Comes to you ready to complete your observatory. Features the same outstanding optics as the LX200-ACF in an OTA only, with built in primary mirror lock and front and rear dust covers. Comes to you ready to complete your observatory, ready for your own mount. Does not include telescope mounting, tripod, eyepieces, viewfinder or other accessories.
