Classroom Kit: Eyewitness CR-Dinoworks

DinoWorks is another learning tool in the exciting Hands On line from Skullduggery. As with other kits in the line, DinoWorks reproduces the wonder of scientific discovery found in the laboratory and at excavation sites. This fascinating and fun-filled kit is designed to give students an appreciation and understanding of the science of paleontology. Students are introduced to the type of evidence found at a typical dinosaur dig - from excavating fossils in the field to displaying them in a museum, students will experience many of the goals and tasks expected of paleontologists. Your classroom will cast skeletal parts of three different species of dinosaurs, and after studying data on each will be challenged to identify and reconstruct three skeletons in their entirety. In the end they will have constructed their own Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops and Velociraptor skeletons. Paint and glue are provided to finish and display their creations in their own private museums.
