Your Write On!® Printing DVD Tutor Kit provides extensive educational value that enhances cognitive and visual perceptual skills, fine motor coordination, and visual-motor integration. The DVD begins with a visual and verbal description of the correct posture and pencil grasp required for writing. Fine motor skills are developed as children practice their printing in the "Amazing Writer," a dry erase activity book accompanying the DVD in which children are encouraged to practice writing each letter along with the characters on the DVD. This practice allows children to follow specific instructions needed for correct sequencing of letter strokes while their fine motor skills are honed. Provision of verbal and visual instructions ensures total access to children of all learning types. Cognitive development is promoted by providing an engaging story in which the characters discuss both the lower and UPPER case letters of the alphabet.
