Paddling, whether flatwater, ocean, or whitewater, uses a specific set of muscles. Without proper conditioning of these muscles, you can over-exert youself, leading to injury and fatigue. The asana-or poses-and pranayama-or breathing exercises- practised in this videohave been designed to target these areas of a paddler's body. By strengthening and stretching these key muscle groups, you can avoid injury and improve your level of performance and enjoyment on the water.
