The rugged Meade® 8x42 Glacier™ Binocular is Meade's best and rivals European brands at three times the price. Nitrogen purged, waterproof and fogproof. This high end binocular features multi-coated lenses and a phase coated roof prism design which in combination give you views that are exceptionally bright, crisp and high in contrast. The high-tech phase coatings alone increase prism reflectivity by 8%. The high light transmission and performance of this binocular gives you approximately an extra hour of visibility at dawn and dusk compared to standard binoculars.
Features 8X Magnification, 42mm objective lens diameter, high quality Bak-4 roof prisms, phase and fully multi-coated optics, and a field of view of 341' at 1,000 yards. Close focus is a very tight six feet, with a generous 5.25mm exit pupil and comfortable 19.5mm eye relief. Includes caps, neck strap, carry case, and lens cleaning cloth.
