Hanging Vines Lace is a knitted lace pattern with instructions for making a variety of accessories in the width you fancy -- from narrow neck scarf, medium width shoulder wrap, or wider shawl and sofa throw styles. Sizing and yardage guidelines for all versions included in the instructions.
Widths from 10" to 52", lengths from 60" to 72". Laceweight or fingering weight yarn, 350 yards (smallest) to 1800 yards ((largest). 4½ stitches/inch, size US 6 / 4.0 mm needles suggested. Sizing and yardage guidelines for all versions are detailed in the instructions. Both charted and written instructions.
The main photo shown above is the wider scarf or stole version knitted with laceweight silk handspun from hand-painted roving.
In the additional images, the narrow scarf version was knitted in a heavier multi-colored hand-painted commercial cotton/rayon yarn, and the sofa throw version was knitted in a yarn of handspun wool plied with silk.

"I just wanted to share with you that I recently finished a hanging vines scarf. It's lovely! I used Schaefer Anne and I did the wider scarf version (2 center repeats). If you're interested in seeing the finished scarf I've put up a photo on my blog.
The pattern was perfect and a pleasure to knit up. I will definitely be making more Heartstrings patterns in the future!
This is the third pattern I've used from Heartstrings and all have been great. All 3 were error-free and that's a feat in of itself! I love how you shared what the extra yardage would be to add another repeat. It gave me the freedom to customize the project to my liking.
