Possum Sock Colorways are handpainted hanks of Superwash Merino and New Zealand Possum fur available in all standard colorways dyed by Cherry Tree Hill.    This yarn is soft and durable, designed for sock but it can be used for other projects such as hats, mittens, scarves and shawls.  A rare luxury fiber, it is characterized by the signature double halo effect that only hollow core possum fur offers and although lightweight is extremely warm. You need two hanks to make a pair of socks.

Specifications: Gauges: 6.5 sts per 1" on a US size 3 needle. This yarn is not machine washable unless you don't mind the possum fur felting. For best results handwash.
