Description

This is Novak's 5mm Mod 1 Steel Pinion Gear 3-Pack (12T/13T/14T) (#5121). These hardened gears are available in packs of three gears, allowing drivers to experiment with gear ratios. In addition to the added flexibility, the three-gear packs save money by giving drivers the ablility to purchase a pack of gears, instead of buying individually.

These heavy-duty gears are recommended when converting 1/8-scale nitro off-road vehicles for brushless electric use and fit seamlessly with Mod 1 spur gears commonly found on 1/8-scale Nitro vehicles. These precision-made Mod 1 gears mesh with Novak’s HV High-Voltage Brushless Motors and other brushless motors with a 5mm output shaft.

To help differentiate the gears, all Novak gears are stamped with the number of teeth on the back.

Note: These gears will not work with a 32-pitch spur gear that is used on the E-Maxx or E-Savage trucks. They only work with Mod 1 spur gears.
