| Pro-Arté synthetic core viola strings have a warm, mellow tone. They are less sensitive to humidity and temperature changes, and break in quickly. Pro-Arté strings are designed at a lower tension in order to maximize bow response, tonal blend and playability, making them exceptional for use in small ensemble settings. Sized to fit long-scale viola (body length 16-16 1/2 inches) with a playing length of 15 inches (380mm), heavy tension strings will allow for greater projection and volume potential. All heavy tension Pro-Arté viola strings are available as single strings only.
