Webley & Scott AG currently offers warranties on all their products, One-Year for Airguns and up to Three-Years for Shotguns. Copies of these can be seen below.
Please review the documents below carefully before submitting a warranty claim as invalid claims will result in a £25 handling charge plus post and packaging.
ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS MUST BE MADE BY RETURNING THE COMPLETE PRODUCT TO THE RETAILER FROM WHOM IT WAS PURCHASED AND TO BE VALID MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY:
1. PROOF OF PURCHASE
2. OWNERS NAME AND ADDRESS
3. FULL DETAILS OF THE PROBLEM and if required
4. A COMPLETED AND RETURNED WARRANTY CARD (see Warranty for details).
Following the warranties below are a series of notes which may be helpful to you if you do not have the current warranty but an older version.
Webley & Scott Warranty -Shotguns
UK and Eire Only
Should warranty service be required for this shotgun, it must be returned to the Retailer from whom purchased, giving the full details of the defect or malfunction and you must state date of purchase and provide a copy of your sales receipt. The warranty card must be competed and returned within 30 days of purchase.
Webley & Scott warrants that this product was manufactured free of defects in material or workmanship; and for a period of three years after date of original purchase, Webley & Scott agrees to correct any such defect by repair or replacement (at their discretion and, if the product is to be replaced, with the same or a comparable quality). Webley & Scott does not warrant defects from: abuse, normal wear, unauthorised repair, alteration, use of non-standard parts, seals, springs, silencers made by other manufacturers, the wood (stock and forend), grips or metal finish with respect to finish, matching of pieces, dents, scratches, cut, dings, etc. which are or should be apparent to the purchaser when the product is purchased. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect this particular product prior to purchase to ensure that it is free from defects or damage. This Warranty is effective from the original retail purchase of the product only. This Warranty is given only the original personal retail purchaser.
Webley & Scott and/or its local official distributor(s) assume no responsibility for product malfunction or for physical injury or property damage resulting in whole or in part from criminal or negligent use of the product, improper or careless handling, unauthorised modifications, use of defective, improper hand-loaded, reloaded or remanufactured ammunition, customer abuse or neglect of the product or other influences beyond the Webley & Scott's direct and immediate control.
